1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 eggs
1 tsp. minced onion
1 (15oz.) can tomato sauce, divided

TOPPING:

Reserve tomato sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard

Mix together, beef, bread crumbs, salt and pepper and eggs. Add onion and 1/2 of tomato sauce. Form into loaf in 9 x 5 x 3 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. In sauce pan combine topping ingredients. Bring to boil. Pour over meat loaf, bake 10 minutes longer.
