CHERRY DUMP CAKE 
1 can cherry pie filling
1 (16 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
2 sticks butter, melted
1 box yellow cake mix

Using a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex pan, spread out cherries and pineapple. Shake cake mix over all fruit. Pour melted butter evenly over top. (Optional - sprinkle top with chopped walnuts or coconut.)

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour, watching closely to see when done.

Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream, if desired.
