SWEET & SOUR SLAW 
1 head cabbage, shredded (med. size)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. pepper

Place cabbage in a bowl. Combine sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard, pepper and celery seed in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add oil. Pour hot mixture over cabbage and stir. Refrigerate (covered) at least 7-8 hours.
