STEAK TERIYAKI | |
1/2 c. Kikkoman or other commercial soy sauce 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice 1 tbsp. dark brown sugar 2 tbsp. salad oil 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper 2 1/2 lbs. flank steak Combine first 8 ingredients. Mix well. Place flank steak and teriyaki sauce marinade in tightly closed container. Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours turning steak occasionally. Preheat grill or broiler and cook approximately 5 minutes per side for medium rare. Cut meat diagonally across the grain into thin slices. Serve with rice. |
