TERIYAKI STEAK STRIPS 
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. dry white wine
2 to 2 1/2 lb. round steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Vegetables of your choice

Combine soy sauce, onion, garlic, sugar, ginger, wine. Marinade meat for several hours in this mixture in the refrigerator. Drain meat and cook in wok until done. Add vegetables of your choice: onions, carrots, mushrooms, etc. Water chestnuts are good for this recipe. Serve over rice, noodles or English muffins.
