CONGO BARS 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 box brown sugar
2 lg. eggs
2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter, add sugar and let cool. Add eggs, blend in flour a little at a time. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cut into bars while still warm.
