CROWN CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend first 5 ingredients for 2 minutes. Stir in baking powder. Add remaining 3 ingredients. Blend for 2 minutes. Bake 40-45 minutes for 9 inch ring pan (greased) in 375 degree oven. (Layer pans may be used - reduce time.)
