SUGAR COATED PEANUTS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 c. raw, shelled peanuts with skins on

Do not double recipe; not as successful.

Dissolve sugar in water in sauce pan over medium heat. Add peanuts, cook over medium heat, stirring frequently. Cook until peanuts are completely sugar coated and no syrup remains, about 30 minutes. Pour onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. When golden brown, remove from oven and cool. Use as gifts or munchies.
