P.'S LENTIL SOUP | |
1 pkg. lentils 1 ham bone with meat on it 6 stalks celery, cut sm. 6 carrots, cut sm. 1 med. onion, thinly sliced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Soak lentils for 2 hours, pour off liquid. Put lentils, 4 quarts of water, ham bone, celery, carrots, and onion in stock pot, add salt and pepper. Cook on low heat for 2 hours. Remove bone and cut meat off in small pieces then return ham to pot. Serve hot and enjoy. |
