1 stick melted butter
2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs

Mix together; put in bottom of lightly greased 9"x13" cake pan.

FILLING:

2 sticks butter, softened
2 eggs
1 box powdered sugar

Mix filling ingredients and beat 15 minutes. Pour filling over vanilla wafer crust.

LAYER:

5 bananas
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, well drained
1 lg. Cool Whip

TOP:

1 sm. bottle cherries, halved
1 c. chopped nuts

Chill 12 hours.
