LIVER PATE 
1 lb. chicken livers
1 lb. sausage meat
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp. tomato sauce
1/2 c. wheat germ or oats

Mix sausage together with wheat germ or oats. Place remaining ingredients in blender and liquefy. Add to the sausage mixture and thoroughly blend. Pour into a 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan and bake 1 hour or until set and browned on top. Pour off any accumulated fat. Unmold and serve hot with tomato sauce as a main dish or chill and serve with toast rounds or crackers as an appetizer.
