1 sm. pkg. vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
1/2 c. evaporated milk (undiluted)
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix pudding, milk, sugar and butter well. Cook to a soft full stage (cold water test); boil 4 to 4 1/2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add nuts and beat stiff. Drop on waxed paper.
