DOW HOUSE DRESSING | |
Fresh ground pepper 2 lg. cloves garlic, pressed or chopped fine 1 tsp. Dijon mustard 1 tsp. honey 1/2 tsp. anchovy paste (optional) 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar Juice of 1 lemon (1/4 c.) Olive oil (1/2 c. plus) good extra virgin preferable! Mix to a paste consistency the pepper, garlic, mustard, honey, anchovy, and balsamic vinegar. Next add the lemon juice slowly add the olive oil while stirring - keep tasting and add more or less oil. Toss over mixed greens. (This also makes a great marinade for potato salad.) |
