1 pie crust mix (or make your own)
1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 (1 lb.) jar raspberry jam
1 sm. can walnuts
1 sm. jar of cherries
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. almond extract

Chop nuts (fine) and cherries and set aside.

Line a jelly roll pan (17 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches) with rolled out pie crust. Spread jam on pie crust. Mix cake as directed on box and spread on top of jam, covering jam. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Cool slightly and frost with thin frosting. Sprinkle on nuts and cherries. Great for large gatherings or special occasions. Serves 20 to 25 people.
