DALLAS CHILI 
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 cans vegetarian vegetable soup
2 sm. cans ranch style beans
Thyme to taste
Rosemary to taste
Chili powder to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Coarse black pepper to taste
Onions to taste

Cover meat with water in pot (just barely). Add chopped onions. Cook until meat is no longer pink (about 20 minutes). Add all other ingredients (vary the soup and beans to your family's likes and your budget). Cook on low heat 1 to 2 hours. Better the second day. Great with a tossed salad and cornbread.
