COCONUT MACAROONS 
1 1/3 c. angel flake coconut
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt in bowl. Stir in egg whites and almond extract. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until browned around edge. Remove from baking sheet at once. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen cookies.
