1 lb. ground beef, browned 1 lb. canned tomatoes 1/2 c. water 6 oz. tomato paste 1/2 c. celery, chopped 1 pkg. dry spaghetti mix 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 9-12 cooked noodles 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 8 oz. cottage cheese 1 egg, scrambled 3 tbsp. parsley flakes Cook together all of the above ingredients in the left-hand column for 1/2 hour. Separately, mix together the cottage cheese, scrambled egg, and parsley flakes. In a 9 x 13-inch pan alternately layer the meat sauce mix, cottage cheese mix, Mozzarella cheese, and noodles ending with sauce on top. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Serves 6-8 people. |
