ROBIN'S POTATO SOUP 
1 onion, chopped
1 stick butter
3-4 potatoes diced
1/2 lb. american cheese
4 c. milk
1 chicken bouillon cube dissolved in water
salt
pepper

Melt butter in pan. Add onion, potatoes. Cover with water mixture to just top of potatoes. Cook until potatoes are done. Add milk, cheese, salt and pepper. Cook on low until cheese melts. Serve warm.
