CRISSCROSS CASSEROLE | |
1/3 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. butter 1/3 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 c. milk 4 c. chopped cooked turkey, chicken or ham 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, partially thawed 3/4 c. grated cheese 1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls Saute onion in butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk, cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add meat, broccoli and 1/2 cup grated cheese. Spoon into 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Unroll the crescent rolls and cut into strips. Lattice over top, sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown. |
