BAKING POWDER BISCUITS 
6 1/2 qt. flour
1/2 c. salt
3/4 c. baking powder
3 c. Crisco
2 qt. milk

Mix and sift flour, salt and baking powder, cut in shortening or rub in with fingers. Add milk slowly to make a soft dough. Roll out on floured board to 3/4" thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake in a hot oven, 425 degrees, for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Dot each biscuit with butter before putting into oven. Yield: approximately 100.
