PICKLED RED CABBAGE 
1 head red cabbage
1 tsp. salt

DRESSING:

1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 c. water

Shred cabbage. Put in bowl and sprinkle with the salt. Let set for 1/2 hour. Combine dressing in pan and bring to a boil. Pour over the cabbage and stir well. Refrigerate lat least 12 hours. Will keep one week in the refrigerator.
