GRANDMA'S GINGER PUFFS | |
3/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1 egg, well beaten 4 tsp. molasses 2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 rounded tsp. ginger 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves Cream shortening and sugar. Stir in egg and molasses. Mix soda and spices with flour. Add to creamed mixture. With hand roll into 1" balls and then in sugar. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen. |
