APPLE CRUMB PIE | |
2 tbsp. plain flour 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 6 lg. apples, peeled and sliced 1 stick butter, softened 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. plain flour 1 unbaked pie crust In a mixing bowl put apples, cinnamon, sugar and 2 tablespoons flour; mix well. Pour into pie crust. Combine butter, brown sugar and 1 cup of flour. Pour on top of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until apples are tender and crust is brown. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. Fresh peaches may be used instead of apples. |
