BEEF STROGANOFF 
3 lb. meat (sirloin), sliced into strips
3 tbsp. butter
1 lg. onion
4 tbsp. flour
1 can consomme soup
1 c. tomato soup
8 oz. mushrooms, drained
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
8 oz. sour cream or yogurt

Brown meat in butter. Add sliced onions, cook 3 minutes. Sprinkle over flour, stir. Add soups and cook until thick. Add mushrooms and seasonings. Simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours. Add sour cream just before serving, heat through but do not boil. Serve over rice or noodles.
