BETTER - FOR - YOU BROWNIES 
1/4 c. oil
1 tbsp. molasses
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. broken pecans
1 c. wheat germ
2/3 c. powdered milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. cocoa powder or 2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate

Mix together all ingredients except dry milk, baking powder and cocoa. If using squares of chocolate, melt in a double boiler and add at this point. Combine dry milk, baking powder and cocoa. Stir into wet ingredients.

Spread in a heavily greased 8 x 8 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Turn out of pan and cut into bars while still warm. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
