CHICKEN A LA KING 
2 c. cooked chicken
6-8 mushrooms
1 green pepper
2 tbsp. butter
Paprika
2 c. cream
3 egg yolks
Wine glass of sherry
Salt and pepper to taste

Put butter in chafing dish, add mushrooms and cook 5 minutes. Add pepper and cook 3 more minutes. Add chicken, seasoning, and cream. When boiling lift from fire and stir fast. Add egg yolk beaten with 2 tablespoons cream. Do not boil. Heat until thick. Add sherry, and serve on toast points.
