PAPRIKA BAKED CHICKEN WITH
STUFFING
 
3 1/2 lbs. chicken pieces
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. very hot tap water
1/4 c. soft butter
1 pkg. Stove Top

Place chicken, skin side up in 3 quart shallow baking dish; sprinkle with salt, paprika and pepper. Dot with butter (3 tablespoons). Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Combine hot water, 1/4 cup butter and contents of vegetable seasoning packet in bowl. Stir to melt butter. Add crumbs; stir until moist. Move chicken to one side of dish; baste with pan drippings. Mound stuffing on other side. Bake 20 minutes longer. Serves 6.

I've made this since the 80's! A step up from just the stove-top instead of potatoes version. I lost my recipe card from the box, so happy to find it here! Easy and good.
