SAUSAGE WITH GRAVY 
1 lb. fresh ground pork sausage
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. flour
2 beef flavored bouillon cubes
2 c. boiling water

Shape the sausage into 4 to 6 patties. Put patties into a cold skillet and cook slowly until well browned on both sides and thoroughly cooked. Remove cakes to a hot platter; keep warm. Drain off all but 4 tablespoons from skillet. Brown onion in the fat. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Stir flour in browned onions and fat and boil 1 minute. Remove skillet from heat and stir in bouillon. Return to heat and simmer gravy 5 minutes. Return sausage to skillet and heat thoroughly.
