CHERRY DREAM 
1 (7 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 can Comstock cherry pie filling
Cool Whip

Crush wafers and line 9 inch square pan with half the crumbs. Put butter, eggs, confectioners' sugar and vanilla in a bowl and beat.

Spread this mixture on top of crumbs.

Spread cherry pie filling on next. Top all with rest of crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Serve with Cool Whip.
