SPANISH PORK CHOPS 
6 pork cops
2 tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. raw rice, washed
3 c. canned tomatoes
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 green pepper, diced

Brown chops. Sprinkle rice around chops; add tomatoes, onion, salt and pepper, and green pepper. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
