EDNA'S HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
8-10 cooked potatoes
2 hard cooked eggs
2 slices onion, fry
1/2 lb. bacon, not too lean, fry
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. sugar

Cook potatoes, cool and slice. Slice hard boiled eggs. Chop onions and toss this all together. Cut bacon in small pieces and pan fry. Remove from fat and add to first mixture. Add vinegar and water to fat in pan and let boil.

Combine flour, sugar and remaining water, stirring together to make a smooth paste. Add to vinegar mixture. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Pour over potatoes, mixing well. About 30 minutes before serving, heat salad in a slow oven.
