RED OR GREEN PEPPER JELLY | |
3/4 c. peppers 1/4 c. hot chilies, pulp 6 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. guava juice 2/3 c. or bottle pectin 3/4 c. vinegar or lemon juice Put peppers into blender until finely chopped. Quickly bring to full rolling boil, all ingredients except pectin, stirring often. Remove from heat and cool for 15 minutes. Heat again, stirring often and boil for 2 minutes rolling. Remove from heat; stir in pectin and pour into glasses. Makes 6 1/2 pints. |
