2 tbsp. sweet milk
Salt & pepper

Stir in cut up okra until coated. Mix 1 cup meal and 1 cup flour in paper sack or plastic bag. Put coated okra into bag and shake real well. Fry in deep fat (oil), stirring constantly until brown. Take up with serrated spoon and drain on paper towels.
