BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter in saucepan. Add sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture gradually, mixing well. Spread in 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle nuts and chips on top. Bake at 350 degrees. Cool in pan and cut into bars. Makes 48. They are delicious.
