CARAMEL POPCORN 
9 qts. popped corn
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn, stirring to cover all corn. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

If peanuts are desired, add 1 cup raw peanuts before removing syrup from heat.
