MAYO PARMESAN BREAD | |
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 c. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. snipped chives or parsley 8 to 10 slices French or Italian bread cut 1/2 inch thick Combine cheese and mayonnaise in a small bowl. Stir in chives. Set aside. Place bread on a rack of unheated broiler pan. Boil 3 to 4 inches from heat about 1 minute. Turn bread over. Spread some of the mayonnaise mixture on the untoasted side of each bread. Broil, mayonnaise side up, 3 to 4 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until brown. |
