CARRY ALONG CASSEROLE 
8 oz. pkg. egg noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. chopped pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt

Brown beef in butter with onion and peppers and salt. Cook with tomato sauce and simmer. Cook noodles and drain. Put sour cream in 2 1/2 quart casserole. Add cottage cheese. Mix in noodles and browned beef. This will look like two layers. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand awhile before serving.
