3 c. chopped apples
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. tapioca
Crusts
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 drops yellow food coloring

Place apples in large bowl. Mix in salt, coloring and vanilla; then sugar and tapioca. Round up in bottom crust; wet around edge of bottom crust. Put on top crust with a few slits for design. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Reduce to 300 degrees and bake 15 minutes more.
