SANTA'S WHISKERS 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. chopped red and green candied cherries
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
3/4 c. flaked coconut

Cream butter and sugar. Add milk and vanilla. Combine flour and add cherries and pecans. Divide into 2 rolls, 8x2 inch diameter. Roll in coconut, wrap and chill several hours or overnight. Slice 1/4 inch thick. Place in ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 5 dozen.
