CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 sq. chocolate, melted
1 small bottle maraschino cherries
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour milk*
1 tsp. baking soda

Combine butter, sugar, salt, vanilla and egg. Add chocolate, milk and baking soda. Add flour. Mix well. Add chopped cherries and juice.

Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.

*To sour milk, add a tablespoon of vinegar to the cup of milk.
