2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
6 eggs
1/2 pt. sweet cream (whipping cream)

Cream the butter. Add other ingredients and mix well. Grease and flour a tube pan. Pour cake batter into tube pan and bake at 300°F for 1-1/2 hours.
