APPLE COBBLER 
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter
4 1/2 c. apples, peeled and sliced
1 can sweet biscuits

Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and cinnamon in a large saucepan. Slowly stir in water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add lemon juice, butter and apples.

Cook 2 minutes.

Place the warm apple mixture in a shallow 2-qt. baking dish. Top with biscuit dough.

Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
