HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef (I use less)
5 c. water (chicken broth is better)
1 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. pearl barley, brown rice or pasta may be substituted
1/4 c. catsup
2 tsp. salt (opt.)
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 c. chopped/sliced celery
1 c. chopped carrots
1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon
1 bay leaf
