SNICKERDOODLES 
1 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix thoroughly butter and 1 1/2 cup sugar. Add slightly beaten eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoons into balls. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls into mixture. Place balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
