3 DAY CUCUMBER PICKLES 
1ST DAY:

7 lbs. cucumber
2 c. lime
2 gallons water

Cut cucumbers 1/4" thick, wash and cut cucumbers. Soak in lime water 24 hours. Stir often.

2ND DAY:

1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. pickling spices
4 lbs. (8 cups) sugar
2 qts. vinegar

Wash cucumbers 4 or 5 times and drain. Mix all ingredients together and heat enough to dissolve sugar. Then add cucumbers and let stand 24 hours.

3RD DAY:

Boil mixture slowly 1 hour and pack in jars. Makes 6 quarts. (12 pints)
