FRENCH STEW 
3 lbs. chuck steak or roast
3 lg. carrots, chunked
1 med. onion, chopped
3 or 4 potatoes, cubed
2 cans tomatoes with juice
1/2 can beef broth or bouillon cubes
1 green pepper, chunked
1 can butter mushrooms
1/2 c. white wine
4 tbsp. tapioca
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. prepared bread crumbs
Salt and pepper

Mix and put in roaster with lid. Bake at 250 degrees for 6-7 hours. Add package frozen peas last half hour.
