FRESH STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM 
1 qt. fresh strawberries, mashed
3 c. sugar
2 pts. half and half
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Mix sugar and water together and bring to a boil. Cool. Add fruit and put in a 4 quart hand freezer until slushy. Then add the 2 creams and continue freezing until frozen.

9 or 10 peaches, mashed, can be substituted for strawberries.
