1 c. water
1 yellow cake mix
1/4 c. oil
1 envelope Dream Whip
3 eggs (or as cake mix directs)
1 (4 serving) pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling

Combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in mixing bowl. Mix at low speed 1 minute, then add Dream Whip and pudding mix. Mix at low speed just to moisten, scraping sides of bowl often. Then beat at medium speed about 4 minutes. Generously grease and flour two 9-inch layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing and frosting.

For Chocolate Dream Cake, use devils food cake mix, chocolate pudding and increase water to 1 1/4 cups.
