2 c. cooked apples
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. Crisco
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
Raisins, nuts, cherries (2 c. in all)

Mix sugar and Crisco, add apples but to each of apples add 1 teaspoon baking soda, add flour and spices. Add the fruit last.

Bake about 45 minutes in 350 degree oven in 10 inch tube or bundt pan, greased.
