5 POUND LOAF 
6 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1 lg. and 1 sm. can Carnation canned milk
1 c. dark Karo syrup
2 c. broken walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Cook to soft ball stage, 234 to 238 degrees. Beat until creamy. Pour into well buttered loaf pan. Age about 1 month.
